See Bryan Johnson
I've got to say, I really admire Bryan Johnson. I know he's a figure of controversy, with critics coming at him from every angle, but his approach to life is nothing short of inspiring.
He's bending over backwards, pushing every limit to slow down his aging process, to wind back the hands of his biological clock. And I find that truly commendable. It's made me consider an essential question - why would I want to extend my life? The answer seems quite evident once you give it a moment's thought. There are countless reasons to want to be alive, to embrace life.
We are living in a remarkable era. We are on the brink of revolutionary breakthroughs in every field imaginable. There are breathtakingly beautiful places across the globe waiting to be discovered. Science is steadily unlocking the secrets of our bodies and minds, revealing how interconnected they truly are. And we are getting to witness, in real time, the impact of our choices on our wellbeing, on the tiniest scale.
There's not just one reason to want to continue living, but countless reasons. A myriad of motivations to want to squeeze out a few more precious years of existence. While Bryan's life might seem a journey of suffering to some, it's clearly not the case for him. How could someone perceived to be in pain generate so much content, brimming with vitality, enthusiasm, and the keenness to share and educate?
You don't have to want to live Bryan's life or take as many supplements as he does to respect his mission. He has willingly turned himself into a living science experiment for the greater good, for all of humanity. That alone commands my admiration.
Beyond the scientific knowledge we'll gain from his self-experiments, I am all for Bryan's radical lifestyle because I believe in personal freedom. I believe in the power to choose one's own path in this extraordinary journey of life.
And in Bryan's case, the life he's chosen is one that actively expands our understanding of human capabilities. I deeply appreciate that. He's not just living his life, he's using it as a platform to fuel our collective growth. And that's a powerful choice indeed.
