When it comes to money, I can't say that I've always had the healthiest relationship with it. It wasn't something that was freely talked about when I was growing up and honestly, I can't blame anyone but myself for not thinking more critically about it earlier in my life.

Money for Self ($100k a year)
With every dollar that comes into my possession, the first thing I ensure is that it contributes to my personal well-being. I truly believe that if I'm not flourishing, I can't support the flourishing of others. This is more about the short and medium term, though, not so much about the long-term future.
A part of this personal flourishing involves leading a healthy lifestyle, physically and mentally. This means investing in quality food and water, exercising regularly, and taking care of my health through necessary treatments. It might seem basic, but even this requires a decent amount of money.
Money for Family ($250k - $1M a year)
Next, I would channel my money into creating a stable future for my family. I want to have digital assets and real estate as safety nets for us. The freedom to travel, to attend interesting conferences, to do what we want without extravagance - that's what I envision. It's not an absurd amount of money, but it still requires a fair bit.
I also want to build what people called a nest egg for safety, security, and large expenses.
Money for Global Golden Age (The rest of the money)
The third thing I'd do with money is to support what I believe would be the most efficient use of it. I'm talking about fostering innovation, whether that's through supporting aspiring leaders, or funding the creation of foundational tech and science that could lead us to a Golden Age for humanity. It's also about backing culture that inspires people to build towards this vision.
But the exact 'where' and 'how' of this spending isn't always clear. With so many worthy causes and initiatives out there, the challenge is to identify where my money can make a real difference, where it can fill a gap that hasn't yet been addressed.
The net new flourishing generated by any investment is key.
👼🏻 Belief Capital (A Millions $ / Year)
One way I plan to spend my money is to support young talents who aren’t driven not by ego, but by the impact they wish to create. They're compassionate, they're tech-savvy, they're profoundly curious, and they're genuinely good people. But, most importantly, they're the ones who could truly benefit from this capital – those who need that extra infusion of self-confidence and belief.
I envision distributing dozens of micro-grants a year to young talents I encounter organically in my journey.
👩🏽💻 Regulatory Innovation Zones (Tens of Millions of $ / Year)
One area I'm particularly interested in is regulatory innovation zones. If I had more money, I'd likely put it towards building real estate in these areas. It’s my guess that this could be a great way to help generate the foundational science and tech humanity needs.
On top of all this, I've been contemplating the role that I could play in fostering connections among the global community of innovators. You see, we're in an era where young minds from every corner of the world are working tirelessly to build a Golden Age for humanity. And I believe money could play a transformative role here.
🤝 Innovator Summits (A Couple Million $ / Year)
How? I envision creating conferences. Not your run-of-the-mill, business-as-usual events, but deeply human gatherings. A space where these brilliant minds can come together, not just to network in the conventional sense, but to form authentic, meaningful connections. This isn't just about sharing ideas and pitching projects; it's about nurturing a collective consciousness towards the betterment of the world.
The objective is to create a culture of trust, mutual respect, and understanding. A culture where everyone is tuned into the same frequency, driven by the same passion for making the world a better place. It’s about fostering an environment where individuals can connect on a deeper level, enabling an exchange of perspectives that goes beyond surface-level interactions. Money spent towards facilitating these gatherings, I believe, would be money well spent if new collaborations are generated that move the needle on human flourishing.
🎪 Global Cultural Festivals (Several Million $ / Year)
There are few things that excite me more than the birth of cultural festivals, each a harmonious blend of art, music, food, fashion, dance, and spirituality. I imagine these to be more than mere celebrations, they would be a gateway to inspiration and enlightenment, a space where people unite to build humanity's Golden Age.
These festivals, inspired by elements from Dave Asprey's biohacking conference and the vibrant, dynamic essence of 'Lightning in a Bottle,' would foster an exploration of human potential. A unique intersection of technology and humanity where we celebrate the human spirit's accomplishments and appreciate how they enhance our lives through innovation.
Taking a leaf from Afrochella (now Afrofuture), we'll create a space that not only celebrates the rhythm of global culture but showcases the rich traditions, cuisines, philosophies, and the inherent beauty from emerging countries. These festivals would be a love letter to global culture, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of our diverse world.
The cornerstone of these events, however, would be spirituality. A bridge between the physical and metaphysical, it would invite attendees to explore their inner selves and foster a sense of unity with the universe.
The goal? To inspire. I want the attendees to leave these festivals ignited with the drive to contribute towards humanity's Golden Age. With the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation they gain, I hope they feel encouraged to shape a future that supports our collective growth and flourishing. These festivals will be experiences, journeys of self-discovery and unity, each step moving us closer to our grand goal - a harmonious and thriving existence for all.
What Might Not Make Sense To Put Money Into
As for things I don't think would be the most efficient use of funds - well, political campaigns come to mind. They can cost a fortune, but do they really effect the change we want to see? I'm skeptical.
Another thought that sometimes pops into my head is the idea of creating a superhero academy. But does that really require a billion-dollar budget? Or can we utilize existing infrastructures like universities and churches that are often underused?
Looking Ahead
Truth, goodness, and beauty - these are the three things that I believe are worth manifesting in the world. And with money, I can contribute to their manifestation. But the key lies in discerning the best, most efficient use of these funds. And that's a question I'm still trying to answer.
