As I continue to grow, to learn, to develop a broader understanding of what it really means to live, I've come to a startling realization: we seem to live in an upside down world.
We're operating in a system where right and wrong seem to have traded places. We've justified and even glorified things that, when you really break them down, seem far from what we ought to aspire to. It's present in virtually every facet of our daily lives. We're caught in patterns that are hindering our personal growth, causing harm to others, and negatively impacting the environment. When I stop to consider it, the magnitude is staggering.
Take schools for example. Step inside any school building and you'll find vending machines stocked with nutritionally bankrupt snacks, cafeterias serving meals that could barely pass as food. We're effectively harming the health of our children, our future.
Turn on the radio, and it's often a stream of music that focuses on objectifying each other, on glorifying violence. The video games kids play? They're saturated with themes of murder and war. We're not only normalizing these ideas, but celebrating them.
Switch on the TV, and you're bombarded by a relentless wave of debates, grandstanding, lies, and deceit. And the food system - the very life force that is supposed to nourish us? It's riddled with the mistreatment of animals, filled with ingredients that contribute directly to their suffering. We eat corn and other government-subsidized foods that our bodies struggle to digest.
Our culture is drenched in sexually explicit material, encouraging young women to adopt a path towards online sex work. Apps like OnlyFans are burgeoning, with social media platforms like Instagram serving as gateways.
We've somehow managed to make polygamy trendy, especially in places like New York. If you're not juggling multiple partners, you're perceived as doing it wrong. Money has become our idol, taking the place of true spiritual enrichment.
Alcohol has turned into a celebrated reward for a hard day's work, even though the 'buzz' we feel is literally a manifestation of our brain cells dying.
Our healthcare system seems to be built on a twisted premise: the more you spend, the sicker you get. Our education system is gradually eroding individuality, creativity, and imagination - skills that are becoming increasingly critical in an AI-driven world.
And amidst all this, if you dare to mention God, to admit your faith, you're seen as backward or even crazy.
This upside down world we're living in is real. The question now is, what are we going to do about it?
