As a professional, I value trust and long-term relationships with my clients and employers.
To foster these relationships and ensure a smooth working experience, I have established the following payment and agreement preferences:
Payment
- I prefer to be paid at the beginning of each month for the full amount of work to be completed during that month. This arrangement reflects trust and helps mitigate the risk of non-payment.
- Payments should be made in USDC or via ACH bank transfer, accompanied by a proper invoice for accounting purposes.
- The invoice should include the payer's name and address, the amount being paid, the services rendered, the time period covered, and the payment method.
Agreement
- For engagements spanning multiple months, I require a written memorandum of understanding in the form of a printed PDF. This document should outline the terms of our engagement, including the duration and any specific conditions.
- If the engagement involves a large sum of money, I prefer to involve lawyers to ensure that all parties clearly understand the terms of the agreement.
- The agreement should clearly define the success metrics for the engagement and outline the expectations for my role.
Communication and Review
- I recommend weekly check-ins with the client or employer to assess completed work, discuss new tasks, and address any other pertinent matters related to the engagement.
- At the end of each month, I suggest conducting a review of the previous month's work to identify areas for improvement and ensure continued success in the following month.
By adhering to these payment and agreement preferences, I aim to establish a foundation of trust, transparency, and mutual understanding with my clients and employers, fostering long-term, successful working relationships.
